Cornelius “Lee” Alig is a sixth-generation Hoosier and seasoned architect and real estate development consultant whose work has played a key role in revitalizing downtown Indianapolis and surrounding communities. A licensed architect in Indiana since 1981, Lee co-founded an urban-focused architecture and planning partnership (now part of Ratio Architects) and later led Mansur Real Estate Services as CEO, delivering commercial, hospitality, multifamily, and office projects across the Midwest. Appointed Vice Chairman of the Regional 2020 Plan under Mayor Bart Peterson, he helped shape long-term urban strategy, and he chaired the Governor’s Residence Commission under two administrations to ensure thoughtful preservation of that historic property.
